SUPventure Rent-to-Own Flex Agreement & Terms of Use (2025)

 

This Agreement outlines the terms under which the Renter hires stand-up paddleboard (SUP) equipment from SUPventure Ltd under the Rent-to-Own Flex program.

Between: SUPventure Ltd (‘the Company’) And: ___________________________ (‘the Renter’) Date: ___________________________

 

1. Purpose of Agreement This Agreement governs the rental of SUPventure paddleboard equipment for the 2025 season.

 

2. Equipment Provided One SUPventure paddleboard, paddle, leash, pump (for inflatable models), carry bag, and buoyancy aid if requested.

3. Rental Period Six (6) months: April – September 2025. The board remains property of SUPventure Ltd unless purchased at the end of the term.

​

4. Payments Deposit £60 (refundable or applied to buyout). Monthly rental fee £45, due on or before the 1st of each month (6 payments total).

​

5. Renter’s Responsibilities Use equipment safely, wear leash and buoyancy aid, return clean and in good condition, store properly, and report any loss or damage.

​

6. Loss, Damage & Repairs Minor wear covered by deposit. Major damage/loss may incur up to full retail value (£250). Deposit may be retained for repairs.

​

7. Insurance & Liability SUPventure Ltd holds public liability cover for organised events only. The Renter assumes full personal risk during private use.

​

8. Cancellations & Early Termination Renter may cancel within 14 days for full refund. After that, one month’s notice is required. Breach may lead to termination and retrieval.

9. End-of-Season Options 1) Buy the board for £190 (deposit credited). 2) Return board in good condition. 3) Re-enrol for next season.

​

10. Health & Safety Renter confirms physical fitness, swimming ability (50m+), and compliance with local waterway rules.

 

11. Data Protection Personal information used solely for rental and payment administration; not shared beyond essential services.

 

12. Governing Law This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes handled in the nearest appropriate civil court.
